The Chapel

The Bishop’s Chapel is a particularly grand and large episcopal chapel. It has been subject to changes over time and, as with the rest of The Palace, fell into considerable disrepair at one time. The documents below tell the story of The Chapel and its contents.

  • The Chapel – ceiling bosses
  • The Chapel – coat of arms symbolism
  • The Chapel background notes
  • Chapel booklet
  • Palace Chapel 2017
  • Chapel parish pews
