Thanks to the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Palace was able to fund the final costs of staging the 800 Year Exhibition which had been planned to open in Spring 2020. Finally opening in October 2020, there was a brief opportunity to visit the exhibition before the country went into the 2nd and 3rd lock downs. The exhibition will remain open throughout 2022 and beyond and can be viewed whenever the Palace building is open to the public.
