The Bishop’s Palace Garden is a major West Country attraction and always receives high levels of praise in our annual visitor surveys. The standards achieved within the garden could not possibly be accomplished without our garden volunteers. Visitors also spontaneously mention how helpful and knowledgeable they have found garden volunteers to be. If you have a passion for plants, flowers and all things edible, want to start or develop your gardening skills and knowledge or just want to be outdoors, then our garden volunteer role may be just the thing for you. We also have a summer time waterwheel cleaning role which is an important support for our waterwheel demonstrators – keeping the waterwheel clean will ensure a smooth demonstration!
