Get ready for a weekend of live music, family entertainment and summer celebration as Party at the Palace returns to The Bishop’s Palace this July.

Set within the stunning grounds of one of Somerset’s most historic venues, Party at the Palace brings together headline performances, tribute shows and family-friendly entertainment in the heart of Wells. From singalong classics and country favourites to pop party fun for younger audiences, there is something for every generation to enjoy.

Saturday 4th July – East 17, Dave Finnegan’s Commitments and Sonia

Saturday is the heart of the Party at the Palace weekend, bringing an unforgettable evening of live music, iconic 90s hits and huge summer party energy to The Bishop’s Palace.

Get ready to party like it’s the 90s as legendary chart-toppers East 17 headline one of the biggest live music events in Somerset. With over 18 million records sold worldwide and a catalogue packed with iconic singalong anthems, East 17 will bring nostalgia, energy and classic 90s pop to Wells for an unforgettable summer night.

Joining the line-up is Dave Finnegan’s Commitments, led by the original star of the cult 90s film The Commitments. Expect powerhouse vocals, an instantly recognisable horn section and the soulful soundtracks that made the film a worldwide hit.

Also performing is Liverpool pop favourite and Eurovision runner-up Sonia, bringing feel-good dance-pop classics and pure 90s nostalgia to the Palace stage.

The evening’s entertainment will also feature local favourites Wells City Band and Somerset-based live band In Like Flynn, creating a varied and exciting line-up packed with live music talent.
