‘Exquisite all year round’
14 acres of perfectly kept gardens for you and your guests to enjoy, the gardens really have something quite magical about them. With the moat surrounding The Palace, offering the tranquil sounds of flowing water, the stunning backdrop of Wells Cathedral, picturesque willow bridge and seasonal flowers and plants all year round. It provides the most beautiful space for you and your friends and family to gather.
Enjoys drinks on the terrace and explore the formal parterre gardens, you really are immersed in a picturesque setting.
The Wedding Feast
As you make your way into The Undercroft for your wedding breakfast, your guests will take their seats in the atmospheric banqueting hall with its long tables seating approx 100 guests.
The hall boasts a magnificent, vaulted ceiling and stained-glass windows. Lit with candles, The Undercroft provides the ideal intimate atmosphere for your celebratory wedding breakfast.
Autumn/Winter Weddings
‘A warm & inviting welcome awaits’.
Imagine windows softly lit, roaring fire in the entrance hall and a glass of warmed mulled punch! The Palace has something to offer all year round, especially in Winter.
The gardens remain beautifully kept, with an array of colours in the trees and borders to hold interest. The crystal-clear waters of the moat and waterfall are a truly magical sight.
