The Palace is well known for its immaculate croquet lawn, where the game has been played for nearly a century. Its team players donning their whites and having a game in the sunshine. The new café overlooking the lawn gives visitors a chance to watch the game being played. By tradition The Bishop of Bath and Wells - who is the Club’s President - opens the season.
