Our Britain at War Day brings history to life with costumed performers, authentic activities and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.
Children and adults alike can enjoy a wide selection of traditional games from the 1940s and beyond, offering laughter, challenge and a touch of nostalgia.
Step into the past and discover:
- the importance of secret messages in Codes & Cyphers
- what food was available, and what it was really like in Living on Rations
- how to survive behind enemy lines in Escape & Evasion
With engaging storytelling and plenty of hands-on experiences, this is more than just an event, it’s an immersive journey into the resilience, ingenuity, and community spirit of wartime Britain.
