Celebrate a brilliant day out for all ages with the new Bishop’s Palace Open Day! With free entry it will be your chance to explore this remarkable place, explore the site and enjoy a full programme of family friendly activities in a beautiful historic setting.

On the day, visitors will be among the first to enjoy the launch of the new Dragon’s Lair play area “Splash Pad”. There will be games on the South Lawn, arts and crafts activities, garden talks from our team and hourly Palace and garden tours. Children can follow family trails, enjoy face painting and balloon animals, while grown ups take time to discover the gardens and medieval buildings at their own pace.
