Family Fun in Wells this Summer
This summer, we have plenty of engaging and interactive crafting sessions lined up for families visiting the Palace. Whether inside our historic Palace or out in the Community Garden, there’s plenty for little adventurers to enjoy.
31st July, 11am-3pm | Nature Ninjas – Design your very own watering can from a recycled plastic bottle. Perfect for little garden helpers. You might get a bit wet this week!
7th August, 11am-3pm | Family crafting activities – Get creative in our medieval Undercroft as you design your own garden decorations and hand-crafted bunting.
14th August, 11am-3pm | Family crafting activities – Create your very own bee and creepy crawly mobile. A fun, family-friendly activity to enjoy this summer!
21st August, 11am-3pm | Nature Ninjas – Sow a ‘Rocket Head’ – sow some rocket seeds and design a fun tin can pot. Take it home, watch it grow and give it a ‘haircut’ to make a salad!
28th August, 11am-3pm | Family crafting activities – Inspired by the stunning stained glass of our historic site, this family crafting session invites you to make your own stained glass art.
All of our family school summer holiday activities are included with admission, including Day Tickets, the Annual Pass, and Friends of the Palace membership.
