This course is designed for complete beginners in watercolours, or those who have tried in the past, but have found the techniques difficult and would like some more practice!
Led by David Simmons, an experienced watercolour and adult education tutor, participants will get the chance to practise techniques demonstrated by David, with support and encouragement.
The course will also cover colour mixing, equipment and basic composition. Subjects will be mainly landscapes, seascapes, buildings and flowers.
The sessions will take place weekly on Friday mornings, from 10am-12pm. Please note: there is no session on Friday February 16th, and the final session will take place on 9th March.
Participants will need to bring their own materials - a list is available on request. The course will be held in the Stable Yard Room.
The cost is £88 per person. There are 12 spaces available so do book as soon as possible. To book, please call, or visit, the Palace Shop: 01749 988111 ext. 205
