Each year, the Bishop’s Palace hosts a range of outdoor theatre events for all during the summer season (June – August). Children are very welcome, and guests bring picnics and drinks, making these evenings a real highlight of the Bishop’s Palace year. Most importantly, the shows go on whatever the weather!

We are looking forward to the following productions at The Bishop’s Palace in the summer season (follow links to the event page):

12th: The Pantaloons present ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ by Oscar Wilde

23rd: Boxtree Productions presents an adaptation of ‘Treasure Island’ by Robert Louis Stevenson.  Tickets for Treasure Island here

Tickets  are now available online here (including tickets with BBQ) and via the Palace office and shop (01749 988111/ext. 200 or 205)
