This half term, discover fun facts about ‘A Bishop’s Life’ with our new family picture trail around the Palace & Grounds, with clues for all ages to follow to discover different areas of the site.
Make-it Monday! Monday 28th May, 10:30am - 3pm
What does a Bishop do? What do they wear? Where do they live? Find out at our fun crafting session. Children can build their own Palace, make an origami mitre or work on a Bishop puppet!
Head upstairs to find the Palace dressing up box - and have a go at dressing up as a Bishop!
Nature Ninjas: Friday 1st June, 11am - 3pm
Take the opportunity to get hands on with the Palace gardening team. The theme today is ‘Minibeasts’! Come and explore the Community Garden and Arboretum, and find out about the spiders, snails and centipedes that live there!
There will also be a range of children’s garden games adjacent to the café so that any accompanying grown-ups can have a coffee break in peace whilst the children try their hands at Giant Jenga, Snakes & Ladders and Connect Four.
