Heritage Skills: Creative Stone Carving

9th - 10th March 10:00am - 3:00pm

Create your own sculpture out of stone in this 2-day workshop.

During the two-day course, you will learn how to sketch an idea and mark out a carving, and how to use the appropriate tools to create your own carving.

You will then be given a block of stone, such as Bath Stone (a soft and manageable stone) to work on at your own speed. By Sunday afternoon, you will have finished a small stone carving to take home with you to decorate your house or garden!

Suitable for beginners.
