Children’s Summer Photography Competition - Results!
This summer we held a competition for children to submit their best photo on the theme of “ My Summer at the Palace”.
The photos needed to be taken within The Bishop’s Palace and Gardens and there were 3 categories: 1-4yrs, 5- 10yrs and 11- 15yrs.
We are pleased to announce below our winners and runners up from each category.
Well done to everyone who took part - we have loved seeing what our younger visitors enjoy during their visits to The Bishop’s Palace.
Category 1: Josiah Martin-Scott – age 4
A wonderful shot of the allotments with lovely highlights of red and pops of colour.
Category 2: Victoria Black – age 6
A very dramatic shot which reflects both the tranquil and ferocious nature of the waterfall within the Bishop’s Palace.
Category 3: Tom Maitland-Smith – Age 13
This view fantastically encapsulates the excitement and imagination that can be explored within the Dragon’s Lair.
The runners up were Emma Mackenzie and Tim Jones. Lovely to see the gardens through the perspective of our younger visitors.
The photos will be displayed in the Stable Yard Room, facing outwards through the windows, so that all of our visitors can enjoy them.
