Artist in Residence

Our artist in residence is Edgar Phillips who works from his studio by the moat at The Bishop’s Palace.

In 2012, he created his first pair of wings, inspired by his own remarkable story of triumph over adversity.

The wings have gone on to win Royal approval and bring hope and joy to many thousands – from monks to TV stars to visitors at Glastonbury, one of the world’s largest festivals.
