We are very pleased to be expanding our guided tour offer to include a much-requested horticulture tour, previously only available with group bookings.
Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the planting and design within the Palace Gardens, including points of seasonal interest and specific areas of planting. The tour will also detail the interesting history of the Gardens, and their year by year development under Head Gardener James Cross.
We hope these tours will give visitors greater insight into the year-round work undertaken by our gardening team to create these peaceful and picturesque surroundings.
Times: first and third Fridays of the month between April and October, starting 6th April 2018.
