Somerset Poppies at The Bishop’s Palace

The Somerset Poppies will return to The Bishop’s Palace.
Back in 2018, there were 7986 poppies displayed on the Croquet Lawn to mark 100 years since the end of the First World War. Each poppy was made by a local school child and represented the life lost of a serviceman from Somerset. Afterwards, they were sold for charity but the remaining 2000 (approx.) have stayed here at The Bishop’s Palace thanks to the generosity of The Somerset Poppies, led by local school teacher Dan Vidler.
This year they will be displayed in the Quiet Garden.
Admission: The Somerset Poppies are included with any valid entry ticket to The Bishop’s Palace and Gardens, including The Bishop’s Palace Admission Ticket and Membership.
