Coloured Pencil Workshop with Gemma Lane

10.30am – 15.30pm

Autumn brings an abundance of food from the harvest. The Bishop’s Palace has its own kitchen gardens and allotments. Working with produce grown on site, participants of this workshop will learn how to create beautifully detailed drawings of the root vegetables found at this time of year using colouring pencils and felt tip pens. The morning session will be spent learning about how to blend with colouring pencils and the afternoon will be applying that knowledge to some of the produce. Gemma Lane will guide you through this process and encourage you to work with colour in different ways. The session includes all materials apart from a sketchbook.
