Chalk and Pastel Workshop with Gemma Lane

With Summer in full bloom at The Bishops Palace, come and spend a relaxing day working with chalk pastels creating your very own Monet inspired water picture. The morning session will focus on working with chalks and charcoal. Gemma Lane will guide you through a step-by-step process showing you different techniques working with this material. The afternoon session will be spent outside by the pond capturing water reflections and colours using chalk pastels. The session includes all materials apart from a sketchbook. Some walking is expected for this session so please make sure you bring appropriate footwear and clothes.
